   I am trying to retrofit the RAMI AV-520 to an already completed Vertical Stab.

   Can you let me know the size nutplates you used to attach the antenna and does the BNC connect face down through the doubler?

     John, I’ll have a look next time I get into the hangar.. Yes the BNC will connect face down.

       Hi, I m building this right now and wonder if you have enough room for an allen key to turn the lateral screws that are meant to hold the antennas in their position

         Yes, it’s tight but possible.. you’ll have to modify the wrench though..

   I was wondering how you handled the antenna cable. Did you install conduit before the skins were installed? I want to install this antenna on an assembled VS.

     Yes, the conduit was installed before the skins were closed.
